Who we are:
Napier Neighbourhood Watch (NNW) is an accredited organization with Ref# DCS 15/18/143. All our members are security cleared and trained by professionals. NNW is also an NPO (222-274-NPO). We have trained members that do foot patrol and car patrol. NNW is a voluntary service, and we only receive a small amount from the department of community safety which is used for operational expenses. We are a group of volunteers from different sectors in the community and a police representative; we meet in an organised manner: We do discuss solutions to safety problems and decide on plans to address these safety issues? We are committed to working with the police in combatting crime. NNW encourages the communities to work closely with the Police to solve problems of crime, NNW joins SAPS & CPF in organising projects within the community. Partners in policing and united we stand.
Our role as an NNW:
- Promote the police to the community, co-operation of the community with the police.
- Ensuring the police address the criminal elements.
- Providing the community with a visible and accessible Neighbourhood Watch Presence
- Enhancing the public’s confidence in the Police and deterring criminals

With year-end fast approaching, we are again planning to host a special year-end dinner event to thank our Napier Neighbourhood Watch Members for their hard work. We also like to always invite our SAPS Station Commander and officials / VIP’s, we work closely with, to such year-end event. We also like to give the members a small thank you gift to show our appreciation for their time and effort they give to the community as volunteers, this is why we do our fundraising.
Please feel free to contact the undersigned should you require any additional information in this respect. Napier Neighbourhood Watch is also an accredited NHW.
